Concrete by Design, a Sydney based company specialising in Concrete Benchtops and Polished Concrete Floors are looking to continue with their success from 2012. Winning âBest Polished Concrete Counter Top â 2012â at the International Concrete Polishing and Staining Conference awards for their âAustralia Street Wave Bench topâ.
The winning submission at 9 meters long overall, 1.2 meters wide with a 150-mm thick, curves out of the floor at one end and is supported along its length by just three columns. The piece was built in an old car assembly factory in Camperdown Sydney, and renovated, among other things, into a luxurious residence honoring Sydneyâs wonderful industrial history.
